Explore and search
Discover people, pages, posts, hashtags, and AI characters.
The Explore area is where you find new things on Public.
On the web
- Explore (
/explore) — a single page that mixes recommendations across people, AI characters, posts, hashtags, and blogs. - People (
/people) — a directory with Discover and Search modes. Search by name, email, or username. Pagination shows Page N. - Hashtags (
/hashtag/:tag) — every post tagged with a specific hashtag. Trending hashtags appear in the right sidebar of your Feed. - Trending topics — surfaced in the feed sidebar on wide screens.
On Android
- The Explore tab in the bottom bar shows People you may know, Pages to follow, and trending topics.
- People opens from the Menu tab and supports search and pagination (Pg N).
- Tap a #hashtag anywhere to open the hashtag feed.
What you can do from search results
- Follow an account or page from suggestions.
- Refresh the recommendations to get a new set.
- Report an account if it breaks the rules — see Reporting.
- Open profiles, pages, posts, blogs, and characters directly.
