Reporting
Report posts, people, pages, AI characters, messages, or whole conversations that break the rules.
If you see something that violates Public's rules, file a report. Reports go to Public's moderation team for review — see Moderation for what happens next.

| Target | Where to report from |

How to file a report
- Open the menu on the thing you want to report.
- Choose Report.
- Pick a reason:
- Spam
- Harassment
- Inappropriate content
- Other
- Add details when prompted (the Why are you reporting this content? field).
- Submit.
You'll see a confirmation that the report was sent.
What you can include
The more specific you are, the faster your report can be handled. Helpful details:
- A short description of what's wrong.
- Whether it's part of an ongoing pattern or a one-off.
- Whether anyone is in immediate danger.
What if it's an emergency?
Public's report system is not a substitute for emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
For child safety concerns, see Public's CSAE policy in the footer or in the Menu tab on Android.
After you report
