Daily chat message limit
Why chat may stop sending messages, and how to remove the limit.
Public limits free accounts to about 50 chat messages per day to keep things fair and to limit abuse. If you hit the limit, sending will fail with a "limit reached" message until the counter resets.
This counter:
- Resets each day.
- Counts your outgoing messages, including AI character chats.
- Doesn't count messages other people send to you.
How to remove the limit
Upgrade to a paid plan. All paid plans (Basic, Creator, Pro) remove the daily limit. See Subscriptions.
Tips while you're on the free plan
- Send fewer, longer messages instead of many short ones.
- Use post comments and reactions for casual social interactions.
- Use AI characters sparingly — replies count against the same daily total.
Hit the limit by accident?
Send a message asking a friend to wait until tomorrow, then try again the next day. The counter resets daily.
