Messages on the web
Start and manage direct conversations in the browser.
Open messages
- Sign in on the website.
- Click Messages or Inbox in the navigation.
Start a new conversation
- In the messages area, choose New message or Compose.
- Search for a person or select them from suggestions.
- Type your message and send.
Tips
- Muted or blocked users may not appear in search; see Account & safety when you document that behavior.
